i feel overworked at times rn like i am so exhausted and need a break but yet starbucks keeps calling

Yeah I definitely notice it more especially with certain plays. The bad energy from some of my coworkers is hitting me really hard when it used to not affect me as much. And I didn't used to want to cry or cut my wrists on my breaks like I do sometimes. I'm going to take a lot of sick days this summer

I feel so burnt out. I have never been late or overslept in my years here and I did it two days in a row on OPENING shifts. I’m so lost and keep choosing to stay because of the college.

Almost walked out today due to frustrations with the manager. Unrealistic expectations with the closers and treating us like general shit. Actually wish I did walk out.

My cafe store is already pretty busy, but with the shortages DT obviously ran out of certain things quicker so now we are getting slammed with almost 3-5 times the normal amount of customers, except we dont have the staffing for it or the space for that many people 😀

considering 3 of us cried yesterday (myself included), absolutely. and we're so understaffed that our vacations are denied 🙃 like damn I just want to see my family and have a quick break :(

I feel burnt out as well. Tomorrow is my 8th day working in a row and it can be tough with the shortages & staffing issues. But I’m thankful to work with awesome coworkers. I hope you hang in there and get some rest!
