I work at Starbucks and I love a matcha latte with chai and a decaf add shot, it tastes like the most delicious dirt you can imagine…. So it’s disgusting in the best way

Someone at the drive thru a couple days ago asked for a double chocolate chip frap with matcha powder. I took a triple take when I made the drink, and it ended up looking like puke.

I did that as a suggestion ONCE because they were saying "So now Starbucks wants us to buy our own plastic straws." And they went on a little tangent about some conspiracy theory.



My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE so far was someone saying, "So Starbucks wants to save the turtles, but not the trees?" FASHJODFHIOPDSFOP, EXCUSE ME? That's not even the same thing.



Oh and because that reminds me, also had someone lean forward and twist around to face me from the passenger seat, pointing at their cold cup saying, "But this is plastic." As if that made a difference. Then as a good barista I pointed out that getting rid of plastic straws reduces the company's plastic waste by 3% and for a company as big as Starbucks, that's a lot. She rolled her eyes so hard and turned to sit in her seat correctly in a huff.

i have a regular that orders a strawberry frap with sccf and it’s SO ANNOYING. the one day she tried to order it with whip, we were out because we didn’t have any heavy cream. so of course she ordered it with sccf, which we unfortunately still had a little bit of 🥲
