hi guys, newish green bean here, i made the mistake of wearing one of my favorite pairs of shoes to work about a week ago and ended up getting syrup on them. i didn’t think much of it but they are starting to attract ants. i used white vinegar a few days ago to clean them and thought that would solve things but i noticed more ants on them today :(
has anyone experienced this/ know how to get syrup off of shoes?

i throw mine in the washing machine like full force and then wipe them with a warm rag and dish soap a few times each week if they're too dirty and that's kept me good

If I were you id literally throw them in the wash and dryer
