This is probably the dumbest request I’ve ever gotten, but a lady asked my to layer the cold foam into her iced white mocha. I tried explaining that the milk and ice are just going to make the foam float to the top, but she insisted that I try layering it. Well. It floated to the top and I actually ended up forgetting to put any ice in her drink, but seemed happy enough

Sometimes it’s better just to say no. My go to for requests like this is “I’m sorry we can’t really do that… it just wouldn’t work”

People are so focused on getting the perfect picture of their drink that they don’t care how it tastes or how we do it . It’s honestly sad
