Will the customer connection score ever go away? (self.starbucksbaristas)

As of late my store has been stressed out about the customer connection score that just keeps getting lower and lower, and I can’t tell if people are just angry about the constant shortages of popular products or if we are just so understaffed that they don’t think we are going fast enough. In an environment like this, it would be so much easier if we could just do without the stress of a survey that has an improper measure of customer satisfaction. :(

my DM explained it to me that the only question that is used to create your customer connection score is "did my barista make an effort to get to know me?", I'm not 100% sure this is accurate but if it is, maybe this is something to focus more on instead of speed or the other factors! (also totally understand how you feel it's exhausting trying to get that score up)

i think customers are sent some questions and that one is the only one that matters. my DM also said the same thing

It doesn’t matter to anyone except the SM and the DM. Just relax and do your job, let them stress about stupid numbers.
