Should I leave? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I love my coworkers and even my SM is okay as far as management goes, but Target (which I applied to at around the same time as SB but which never got back to me before now) is offering me a position at 50% more pay and similar hours.

I'd miss the Lyra sessions and free coffee, but the commute would be *way* shorter. On paper I feel like this is a pretty easy decision but I'm still feeling really apprehensive about it?

Make is list of Pros and Cons for each position
Include commute, pay, benefits, co workers, bosses, how hard each job is everyday and rate each part 1-10. Add up the scores and see which job wins.

Are you planning on working on the Target side, or the tarbux?

Change is scary. You know your store and your team. You don't know the new one.

But draft up that comparison and see factually which is better. Change is scary but so is stagnating and losing out on the things you want.

Lyra is a great benefit, but most health insurances cover mental health to some capacity. Not sure what target offers.

Free bean coffee is $10 a week. Free drinks, you can get the ingredients and make it at home if your target doesn't do employee discount. Is a free drink or two worth a 50% paycut for staying?

Honestly, I would just wait it out until September when the free drinks when you’re not on shift is over.
