Everythings broken and starbucks refuses to send us new machines (self.starbucksbaristas)

So I work licensed. Our grinder? Broke 4 years ago. The blender? Just broke after 9 years. It doesnt even show what you're blending btw. You press a button and hope it works because no text pops up.

The espresso machine? Old. Also odd shots take twice as long for some reason to pour. They also taste bad. Yes we called maintenance in. Literally nothing got fixed.

Anyway we asked for a new grinder and blender but starbucks literally does not care. We use a shitty grocery store grinder and no one knows how to clean it.

Our lead has asked. Our store manager has asked. Hell even the district manager got involved. But starbucks refuses to send a new machine for ANYTHING after 4 years.

Why??? Literally why??? Its not like its free or going to cost Starbucks money, the store would have to pay for it..

I get starbucks will prioritize licensed stores less compared to their corporate ones. But just stonewalling us for like 4 years is so annoying.

Sorry I'm just so frustrated after the blender finally broke while doing a frappucino and dont know why they refuse to send new machines.

We’ve had the same mastrenas for 12+ years and we got them USED already. We call them in a minimum of three times a week EACH

and we’re a corporate store! there have been multiple days in my time that we haven’t had working bars for days straight due to how often they break

This was my experience working in a licensed store as well. Half our stuff we got from a restaurant supply store in the city and the other half was in varying states of disrepair. We knew when they put out now brewings 90% of the shit they advertised would never reach us. Signage was often wrong, but our DM was on our ass to follow the Sirens Eye~ which is ... infuriating on so many specific levels. But there's no support, nothing. I realized sbux wasn't going to ever support us when I turned to this Reddit specifically to trouble shoot our own machines, since I couldn't find it on Google. Why couldn't I just call the number on the machine? Well they irreparably broke the first one they tried to fix and never came back to fix their horrible mistake, and never came to look at the second broken espresso machine. They will never ever care, corporate or otherwise

Omg how did they break it... wtf..

And you know these service dudes probably charge like 60 dollars a hour. God theyre making bank off of us and then..break shit..

I honestly hope this shortage issue damages starbucks reputation. Its so infuriating they want to continue making work worse for everyone and refuse to fix the glaring problems.

I wish customers would go and complain to corporate about how bad our store is sometimes. But that would probably get us closed rather than a new machine.
