True but makes it faster if you stack some packets together cut them open and squeeze the honey out of them at the same time. The way op said ripped made me feel like they did that one by one. Still super annoying though

Also for everyone saying it’s hard to squeeze the packets, I put the packet over the cup, between a lid and the rim and pull it out to get the honey out!

Haven’t worked at Starbucks in over two years, but with that much honey we would always add a splash of hot water to melt it before pouring the drink so it mixes well.

It’s a bummer this is a mobile order, because this kind of order is just screaming to be made into an iced americano instead of iced coffee, for the same reason as you mentioned.
But still, big oof, that’s so much honey, and it would take so much time to not even be really what the customer wanted. That’s easily twice as sweet as the classic that would have gone in it instead.

while you could have used the honey pump, i had customers claim they could tell the difference when i used the pump instead of cutting packets of honey open. >_<

I’m a partner and can say I can honestly tell. I think our honey blend is ass and doesn’t taste like honey at all. And even had one of our regulars get super sick from something in it. He can have all of our other syrups but not that one

Big difference sadly. I'm allergic to the honey blend because of the additives in it. And there's a significant difference, but I get americanos where you can tell more easily. If you out it in a latte or as extra sweetener, you'd have to be looking for the taste.
