Seriously. Today has been AWFUL and none of the customers understand why we can’t even load gift cards!

This!! My GM said she turned MOP off but we were still getting mobiles?? They weren't even coming in regularly, there was like little spouts every 15 minutes of tickets.

Today is fucking awful. Especially being at a DT store the tills are soooooo laggy before they error out when I scan sbux cards 🙄 TGIF I guess, last day of the work week thank FUCK

Just got off from opening this morning, it was the absolute worst working in the DT window. Had to work twice as hard to keep those times down thanks to the POS shitting itself every time I scanned a barcode.

I’ve since been clocked out but the system was at least online when I left. it’s just super slow and feels like it’s about to go down any second. best of luck with your shift though!!

My DM said he was trying to get them turned off but emails weren’t even working in order to do that. Surprisingly, customers were pretty chill about it once we explained (and I was running the shift so that made my job a lot easier). The running theory is we got hacked somehow, since it was company wide. 😳

I was already running a tough shift (2 peak partners were unexpectedly veryyy late) and I was NOT fucking around.
I was trying to submit a ticket - no one had posted on social media yet so I didn’t know it was company wide - but the iPad didn’t have wifi so I connected it to my phones hotspot and then kept my phone on hold with tech support during peak
thankfully our SM was in the lobby and super nice about window times and tried to help as much as she could…
I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a hacker, but I also remember last summer when all sticker machines went down and it was just a system issue.

I only knew it was company wide via texts from my SM. We rebooted R2 and it seemed to work then it went right back to not printing any mobiles for 5-10 minutes and then printing them all at once. We also couldn’t reload cards. I was gonna try calling IT initially but then the texts from my boss came in

I must not have been working that day (or dissociating, WHO KNOWS) bc i don’t remember that at all LMAO

I had to send a partner home bc of dress code right before peak (i’m still pretty new to shift so i was like GOTTA DO ME STUFF so i didn’t notice initially) and even that was just rough on my nerves…..but at least those partners showed up at all I guess T_T

This same thing was happening at my store. Luckily we had a solid crew and we’re able to navigate through the delays by asking people what they ordered and just making it. Finally when the tickets and stickers started printing we knew who had been there and was able to catch up. It was definitely a disruption but it didn’t funk us up for too long. Once we realized everything was wonky we started asking orders and handwriting cups and just busting out drinks again.

Low-key, did Starbucks get hacked? My friend said it as a joke, but man, what a way to fuck with America, takin away their coffee.
When I left my shift a couple hours ago it all seemed to be working fine, but it was a long morning. Our manager tried to turn off mobile orders, but it didn't work for us either until our district manager turned it off. It wasn't fun, but we got through it😅

Yesterday was the day Skynet took over Starbucks 😂 just happy I could place product orders. Café store 60% MOP so our sales tanked. 😭
