hi hello! im a 296xxxx, was hired at the end of november 2020 but started this january. today is my last day at my fairly busy drive-thru store, im transfering to a much more quiet store next to a bookstore that does not have a drive thru and is much more connection focused.
because we are fairly high volume at my current store, im worried that my work habits and my knowledge of standards is going to be lacking once i transfer, since at the quieter store they have the time to do things right. does anyone have any tips on how to adapt and not annoy my new coworkers too much? lol

I don’t have any advice for you but I am so, so jealous that you have a store without a drive-thru to move to.
In all honesty, you’ll likely be just fine.

I always had the assumption that drive thru partners will absolutely love my cafe when they’re borrowed but every single one tells me that they’re bored 🥲 one of our shifts wants to transfer back to a DT for a faster paced environment

Just be honest. I doubt any of them will care and most might not notice. If it comes up just be like "I came from a high volume store so we didn't have to date whips because we went through them so fast" or "oh, at my old store we did it like X but thank you for letting me know that here we do Y, I will do that going forward."
Don't stress - you'll be fine.

i work at a café only store and i think you should just talk to the partners about what their standards are. for my store, we don’t always have a rush so during those quieter times, we will clean (we honestly do like a full clean play everyday even tho we only have them scheduled once a week). we also always find tasks to do since there aren’t always customers so you end up doing a lot of prep work for the busier times like mornings. i think as long as you ask your fellow partners what all their standards are and what you can do to help, you should be fine. oh also ask them for their tips on customer connections and who the regulars are because it helps a lot
