How do tips work? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Been working at Starbucks for about a month and I am just wondering how tips work? Are they just added into your regular pay every 2 weeks or do you receive them in cash once a month/weekly/bi-weekly? Thank you!

Weekly! Usually tuesdays but you can always ask your supervisor!

u might just not have been around when everyone else was pulling tips (theyre kept in the safe so u obvs cant get to them on ur own), but theyll definitely be in there when u get to it!! we have tips in the book from partners who quit years ago - theyll hold ur tips until the store burns down lol

Cash tips are distributed based on how many hours you work and how many cash tips you get that week. Mobile tips are added to paychecks

Electronic tips go into your paycheck and cash tips are generally done weekly on Tuesdays
