Any good animal vs Starbucks stories? I got one... (self.starbucksbaristas)

So. I wish I had a picture or a video but...

A bird flew into the store today from the open drive thru window. Promptly crashed into one of the windows and fell to the floor as about half of the baristas in the store screamed (including the SM, an ASM, and a shift). Luckily the other ASM, who was present for a meeting, had the realization that, while the bird was temporarily stunned, he could go and grab it and take it outside. He sat it down in the shade and it flew away after a few minutes of contemplating its life choices.

So anyone ever have an animal get loose in their store?

In one of my previous stores (NON -drive thru even) somehow a bird got into our store and flew its little butt back to our BOH where there was no where else to go. It perched way up high above the computer and my SM, who was afraid of birds was properly freaking out.

I know I took a picture but do I still have it saved…

It took a minute to realize how the bird got in for us LoL now the one ASM (the one that screamed but whose biggest pet peeve is leaving the window open btw LoL) can be like "shut the window! Otherwise another bird might fly in!" (To be fair, she is severely allergic to bees and she's already had to have the SM use an epipen on her before from getting stung... and isn't keen to repeat the experience... which has led to the typical joke of 'if you wanna stab [ASM's name], let a bee inside').

If you can't tell - I'm in a very non-toxic store with very good management (which seems to be very uncommon in this section of reddit)... which is gonna make transferring out really difficult 🥲 (I plan on moving in less than a year to a different state to be closer to family after I finish my degree).
