I’ve trained a few partners and one I’ve trained is leaving after like 1.5 months and my my second Ive been training recently and she: called out once, was 45 minutes late, then 20 minutes late and was on her phone the entire time I had her doing online training 🤭 like it’s not my fault but dang I feel cursed

Oof i feel you! I had a trainee not pay attention to any of the recipes and decides to make up her own frapps when ppl order.

My trainees kept quitting or transferring so I decided the $65 pretax training bonus wasn’t worth the effort and disappointment, but now I get to listen to the other barista trainers spread misinformation, so that’s cool.

That’s terrible! I’d tell my manager and confront the partner about it. If the issue persists, maybe the threat of a write up will get them on track. Or maybe they’ll just get themselves fired.
