Baby green bean in France, been working for less than a month

I applied in some posh town because of the reviews and an ex-roommate who convinced me they had strict rules to follow regarding health safety and how to prepare the drinks... I thought they would be serious, but now i'm getting concerned.

This weekend before closing I couldn't find the Strawberry asai's cap anywhere. The shift told me to just pick some milk one laying under the fridge rinse it and put it on. No??? That's disgusting why would I do that???? Also the brioche and cheesecakes were expired! The opening guys were supposed to check de dates on it - hell, you could clearly see they were starting to change colours.
Again while closing, I know we're sometimes late but why is the shift putting dirty crates from the basement on the table where we prepare the food?? And touching everything without gloves??? And not cleaning anything afterwards????

The cherry on the top happened yesterday, when an allergic costumer asked for almond milk and my coworker realized midway he used whole milk. He just threw the drink down the sink, quickly rinsed it and started making the drink again in the same cup. I was dumbstruck by the audacity. What the hell.

Those rules aren’t standard for my store in the US. If a cap falls to the floor, it’s destined for the trash. Allergic customers should understand that cross contamination is unavoidable, but making the drink in the same cup is still really weird. Maybe report the health code violations?

Just talked to the manager about the caps and all to be nice... And she lashed out, saying I'm not cut for the job (???) So I'm quitting and reporting everything asap.

I’m sorry it had to end that way but at least you’re doing the right thing. Bonne chance.

US here but, that's super against policy. At my store when we drop a lid we just put it in the sink in BOH and get a new one. We are super strict abt FIFO too. Maybe its just your store?
