Just got hired and finished the background check, what do I do now??? (self.starbucksbaristas)

So last Tuesday I went in for an interview at my local Starbucks and was told they'd love to have me there. Elated, I waited for the background check to come in, it didn't for over a day so I called and there was a glitch in the system. That's fine, I got it done. I finished it Thursday and haven't heard back since, should I call the location?

just give it a bit. my background check took over a week to even get sent to me and my SM didn’t contact me for another week. your SM should reach out to you by email/text soon telling you when to come in for your first sip and beginning of training. good luck :)

yep! exactly what u/i_am_me47 said :) background checks take quite a bit to process so give it at least another week before checking in again!

Omg the comments here made me feel so good bcs i was told to wait for my background check and they would call me but it’s been 2 days i was SCARED

Yeah 😭 they should start making people aware of how long it takes 😒 i was having a crisis like i fr booked a whole vacation cause i was so sad

When I got hired my store manager told me that my background check was taking longer than expected so it's normal. She let me know a week later that I was hired so just be patient!

Thank you, I'm gonna call them tomorrow morning cuz that seems to be when the manager is there.
