My request: Yoga pants are allowed! I can get down with this! Give me yoga pants or give me death! ✊🏼

Why should they abolish the dress code it is there for a good reason. Actually multiple.

First, it ensures that employees wear clothing that will keep them safe during work. Funnily enough, much of the dress code is actually ignored as it is already and if you notice its typically the parts that are not in regards to safety restrictions. I can assure you those piercings, logo shirts, and multi color dyed hair are not or were not at some point within code. Yet they are widely ignored. However, wearing leggings or open toed shoes in a job where literally every item you touch could burn you is a pretty good dress restriction. Removing leggings if in contact with hot liquids? Good luck. And if the hot water makes it into your sock or directly onto your toe, you wont be able to work.

Secondly, you represent the company at work. You do not represent your own interests. Thus the company would like you to respect its image. Cmon they literally allow t-shirts and jeans. How much more casual can it be. Just because you cant wear your spike choker or yoga pants isn’t a big deal. Plus you are just gonna be judged by customers or sexually harassed.

Long story short the dress code is already laxed af.

i’d sign if you had more specifics on what you want. you want it completely abolished? or less tight restrictions?
