I’m training someone for the first time next week and i’m so nervous i’m gonna get something wrong lol. any current/ex barista trainers have any tips?! i would really appreciate it 😭😭

PLEASE teach to standard. We’re having problems with that at my store. If you aren’t 200% sure of something, look it up! Theres plenty of stuff on the iPads/etc to help

oh i definitely will, i hate when people at my store don’t do things right i’m like😟😟😟 they have recipe cards for a reason y’all

My number one tip for any trainer is to never assume anything. There’s no such thing as common sense when you’re teaching a new skill. Explain everything (literally everything) but don’t be patronizing or condescending either.
