I would consider transferring honestly. You could also bring this up with your dm. If there’s only two people at the store for three hours your customer connections can’t be doing great.

i don’t know if this is only applicable in certain areas, but i know for our stores if there is only one partner and one ssv, the store must close. might be something to look into!

I’ve been snuggling with the same thing and sorry I’m just continuing with your rant lol. I’ve tried talking with my SM multiple times and she gave the same excuse of being over in labor (which makes no sense) and tells me it’s too complicated to explain. But It made me frustrated because when I tried to explain how it’s been affecting the baristas who have to deal with being short staffed every single day they work, they don’t take me seriously because the baristas that it really is affecting won’t speak up. Which I can understand not feeling comfortable saying you’re feeling over worked but if it’s just one or two SSVs standing up, the SM just brushes us off and tells us “the baristas are fine”.
