Put it in a grande but only with the contents that would fill a tall and then just let them know why. Let them know you didn't want to give them a sticky or wet cup, etc. it frames it like you're doing them a favor.

Thank you! I’m tired of spilling a drinks 🤦🏻‍♀️

No problem! Be sure to mention it before you do it though because some people actually get mad when they get a larger cup but once you explain 99% of people are normally cool with it lol

Make it, then only pour what fits into the cup?!?! Is that not the most obvious choice?

I mean yes, but some people are like can you fill it up all the way? Had a customer like that today - she was very pissed

I would say “sure! But I have to charge you for a grande :)”

I'm confused. You were asking how to fit drinks into a tall when there's extra ingredients. If a drink could fit into a grande, but they ordered a tall. You just pour what fits into the tall and throw away the extra. If someone asks in the moment, sure give um a bigger cup and tell them we usually charge and next time you'll have to. However, if someone wants a tall in a grande, and they want something like extra whip or extra ice, ill absolutely fill up the cup.

They just get less of each item, we have to reduce the amount to fit the cup.

Pour it on them
