You can just do a quick tuck and pin it. If you like the length after pinning, you could consider getting it hemmed. Try not to make your pockets dysfunctional.

Before I tie it I fold it up around my hips, then wrap the strings around once and tie in the back. I hope that made sense. It’s easier to show than explain lol
