Well now I'm at an impass. My store does full pumps, .y friends store does half pumps, and people come into our store complaining that their drink from my friends store tastes bad and they want us to remake it.

You can just explain it to people who complain, tell them the recipe says use half pumps but “you feel it tastes better with whole pumps”. And that since the standard is 1/2 pumps, they can specify when they order to use the “full pump” amount :) they’ll probably be appreciative of the explanation
