So one of my coworkers who is a barista was telling us yesterday that the pride shirts we bought from Starbs for pride month are out of dress code now that pride month is over. Is this really happening? Has anyone else heard anything about this?

no, they’re in dress code year round because they’re starbucks issued and dress code approved (as it says on coffee gear).

they are on the canadian site. directly in the “dress code approved” section.

super strange. i guess i can’t say whether they’re in dress code in the US then. but they *should* be.
i don’t find it okay to say that you can’t wear pride shirts once pride is over. i don’t know if it’s because the us legalized gay marriage way later, or what. but basically by restricting when you can wear the shirts they’re saying you can’t have pride unless it’s pride month (which is stupid.)
