Should I call my SM or no since he’s on vacation (his vacation just started today if that makes a difference)? I would feel bad bothering him, especially in the middle of the night but I’m scared I’ll get in trouble if I dont call him.

Usually for my store, when an sm is on vacation there is a manager within the district that “covers” them (basically an emergency manager for any questions or concerns). I’m unsure if the same applies to your store.

Your sm should've had another sm covering the store. And that's who you would call. I would follow up with the dm during business hours to let him know all of this just in case.

So turns out he did have someone covering it, but literally only told one person who it was. My old SM would post a note with the covering SM’s name and number but my new one didnt post anything. The only reason I found out who was covering is because she ended up calling me to check in.

Oh same. All of my sms, even the crappy ones, would leave a list of names and numbers of who's in charge of what during the week.
