POV: Me being a barista and just finished chugging a trenta of that exact same drink 😅 (to be fair I keep the normal amount of coconut milk and add in a little heavy cream to kinda thicken it... and only one scoop of vanilla bean powder... and not the cold foam cuz thats too much)

Fuck no. LoL I only make it after I clock out. If I go in on my day off I order an iced coffee with 3 pumps of caramel, no classic.
I like other drinks, but I'm just trying out Tik Tok drinks. If I work, I try a single Tik Tok drink after each shift - just to see if they're just hype (most of them are 🤢 but there are a few good ones). But I never make anyone else make them cuz that's unfair... and all the other baristas know that when my drink pops out that it's a Tik Tok drink that I'm trying. Granted, I'll let the other baristas try it also if they'd like to (I grab a bunch of pup cups to use for sampling) but I always personally make it after I clock out.

Also. I run daily. I'm actually quite fit. If you'd chill out for like 15 seconds, you'd understand that I don't drink it on the regular PLUS I'm trying out Tik Tok drinks just to see whether or not they're good.
That happened to be one of them that I tried and was actually decent enough to drink an entire cup. Am I going to get it again? Possibly but not for at least another week - I have other drinks to make and try. I make my own drinks after my shift ends and I clock out. Never do I ever go in and make my amazing coworkers make a monstrosity UNLESS THEY WANT TOO. They all know that whatever sticker prints off for me (they recognize my name) that it will be a Tik Tok drink that they are also welcome to take a sip of.
So chill your tatas and don't call people fat that you have no idea what they look like or what their lives are like.

We had a woman come through the drive thru and asked for a minute before ordering. I could literally hear her watching a TikTok about what to order and we’re out of half of the ingredients. When I informed her of this and she proceeded to ask for another minute while she watched ANOTHER TIKTOK.

We had people straight up just playing the audio through their car speakers at us instead of saying it themselves. Don’t hide behind tiktok because you’re embarrassed. Order the drink because trust me you aren’t the first person to have ordered it today.

Nah. Just order the drink without using tiktok. Not much to be embarrassed of. It’s not original and you’re not the first to have ordered. No need to pretend like you’re embarrassed about it. Order your drink and move on. There are probably people behind you who’d like to order too.

Whenever people try this I tell them we can’t hear the phone through the speaker. Usually works and they’ll order it like an actual person, or they’ll get something entirely different

LOL I don't envy you baristas. Back in my day I was known to be that guy that would make custom drinks for the customers. One of the people hated it when I did that. I was like hey they wanted something special and didnt know what to order. TO be fair I did teach the customer how to order them in any store they go too. Also the custom drinks I helped them make were just modifications to the normal stuff and none of that blended unicorn stuff.

* (My personal go to) Black Tea Lemonade with 2 pumps of rasberry instead of classic
* Vanilla Bean Frap with White mocha caramel drizzle
* Strawberry Frap with white and regular mocha pumps

How can you even make a Snickers Frappuccino without peanuts and/or peanut butter? We don't have that. I had someone order a Strawberry Cheesecake Frappuccino and I was wondering where the "cheese" part comes in - turns out, not at all! Was just a layered Strawberries and Cream Frappuccino! How dumb! These things are just make believe for people who have absolutely no culinary sense.

we have people always tell us they want to try the tiktok drinks (“tiktok white mocha...tiktok pink drink...” etc) and I always tell them “oh I actually don’t use tiktok at all so you’ll have to explain the drink to me since it’s not a standard menu item!” and then proceed to watch tiktok on my 30 💀

I’m done with all TikTok Starbucks drinks. I’ve started telling customers that the secret menu is a secret FROM us. They take too long to make, take too long to order & don’t cost as much as they should for all our labor.
