I don’t know how to tell you guys this, but in many countries they call these kinds of drinks frappés. Neither SBux or McDs made the word, and in fact SBux is the only one who made anything up at all.

I used to but then i realized for me it wasn’t worth it to get upset over. Sometimes it’s kinda nice in the DT bc Frappuccino sounds too much like cappuccino

or a sausage and cheddar McMuffin

one time, after i finished a shift, i was ordering at dunkin and accidentally let the word venti slip out. what followed was me apologizing 5 times because they probably get that as much as we get "3 cream 3 caramel swirl"

It makes me cringe on the inside every time. I know it’s not the end of the world or anything to lose sleep over, I just like calling things by whatever they’re named at wherever I’m at. I’ll call it a frappo if that’s what’s on the menu lol. I feel like for me it’s being considerate in a way.

Frappuccino is a word the bux invented so it could trademark the drink. It’s literally a frappe, which is what almost everyone else calls it.

Or they order a sausage McMuffin hahahaha

Yeah I really don’t like it because Starbucks had it first, and we make ours from scratch. It doesn’t come out of a bag, and y’all better appreciate.

Frappe doesn’t bother me at all but when someone literally comes thru asking for a “sausage McMuffin” I want to off myself
