Also remember as of Jan 21 that coffee Frappuccino’s do indeed get whip cream when adding any additional flavored syrup that isn’t sugar free. :) the updated recipe cards should be on the iPad.

Your shaken espresso pumps are incorrect. It looks like you made it based off of the old Starbucks double shot recipe. You can double check me but Pumps are 4/5/6

at my store we only use hot bar pumps for shaken espressos, so i based it off of that, if it’s incorrect regardless plz let me know!

Or cbs pumps: 2/4/6

I’d double check the recipe cards on the iPad just to be safe. It looks like you’ve put in so much hard work and it looks amazing. If I remember to check tomorrow I will. I know the brown sugar is 1/2 pumps but not sure about the classic (as I’ve never seen half bar pumps on a classic bottle ever lol) so you might be 100% correct based on that.

espresso shots for both americano and flat white, vanilla syrup pumps for caramel macchiato, and chai pumps for hot chai are wrong so i would double check those with the computer before you post

i’m not using s/t/g/v for americano and flat white, i’m using t/g/v/v-iced so those shots are correct, for hot chai i shouldn’t have put the venti iced one on there oops, and same for caramel macchiatos, they do get one less pump than a latte would so those should also be correct. i’ll still double check with pos but thanks for the feedback!

as a shift and trainer i highkey advise against leaving out shorts on this tool if it’s intended used is to be a helpful tool for green beans

just being nit picky about some things:

for americano it might be nice to say
hot / cold water
or make two boxes, one for hot and say 1/4 inch room at top and one for iced that says cold water + ice
or just leave hot out altogether in case something that might be obvious doesn’t get confused for a green

also i might be wrong, but i’m pretty sure the contents of a cappuccino is
1/3 milk foam
1/3 steamed milk
espresso shots

also it’s important to note for the espresso con panna it goes in a double cupped short cup with substantial amount of whip cream (1/4 in room)

if you feel like it, might also be nice to somehow differentiate between
green tea
iced green tea
green tea latte
iced green tea latte

also my Store Manager and Shift have gotten onto me for saying “fraps” since “frappuccino” is the trademark for starbucks, but since this isn’t an official corporate cheat sheet it might be better to keep it as “fraps”

but you have done an amazing job!! definitely will share with our store trainers for future greens

If you're in the US I believe both the stcf and gtf get 2/3/4 full dose pumps of classic and a crcf is 2/3/4 and mccf does not get mocha driz on the bottom

To add to this, espresso frapps only get 1 shot + standard frap roast pumps no matter the size. A lot of my green beans didn't realize that!

Same. Haven’t worked at a real coffee shop, but went to one regularly. I asked them about the shot thing after starting at Starbucks and they told me shots don’t die after 5 seconds. Maybe after 20 minutes, but not 5 seconds

This makes me sad. I was a STAR team member (corporate training team for new store openings back in my day) who's specialty was new barista training and we had something like this standard at the stores to give out. If I remember right they were on that plasticy type printout so you could write on them with dry erase markers. You should be having to reinvent that wheel. It's awesome that you are! But you shouldn't have to... what happened to the support from above?

I’m pretty sure the espresso frap is a shot of espresso and then the normal amount of frap roast. I could be wrong, but that’s what a shift told me. I was trained to replace a pump of the frap roast with the shot, so either could be right or both could be wrong. I’ve been doing full pumps and one shot

i just kinda vetoed short bc i’ve literally never sold anything as a short in the entire year i’ve worked there, the official training will go over that and on the rare occasion someone orders one, they can just ask

edit: plus it’s listed under the standard shots/pumps section for reference, it just saved some space too

we aren’t supposed to say medicine ball to customers even tho that’s what everyone knows it by lol, but the honey citrus mint follows hot tea latte steps with honey blend, jade citrus mint and peach tranquility bags, and then half water half steamed lemonade instead of milk :)

an espresso macchiato is not like the caramel macchiato. caramel macchiatos get the shots on top, but the espresso macchiato is typically just doppio espresso with a bit of foam

Correct and correct. The term “macchiato” in Italian is espresso with a dash of steamed milk, but in Starbucks terminology it means on top so the shot would be poured over the foam. Because of density reasons it doesn’t last there long but that’s how you’re supposed to make it

I don’t think anyone is ever trained on that drink. I was corrected one time and now I’m one of the few who know how to make it right. It’s rarely ordered though, so people assume it’s the refresher blended.

double check me on these but mocha cookie crumble fraps don’t get drizzle in the bottom layer, only whip and cookies (opposite of caramel ribbon crunch)

i’m literally so concerned that no one can agree on the correct pumps for the iced shaken espresso…

Using the sbux app to check myself for a *regular* Iced Shaken Espresso it is:
3 pumps of classic in a tall / 2 shots
4 pumps of classic in a grande / 3 shorts
6 pumps of classic in a venti / 4 shots

If it’s a brown sugar shaken espresso:
3 half pumps (a cold bev pump) in a tall / 2 blonde
4 half pumps (a cold bev pump) in a grande / 3 blonde
6 half pumps (a cold bev pump) in a venti / 4 blonde shots

Dunno about anyone else but I’ve always put hot water in prior to espresso for Americano beverages, hot water on top of the espresso can produce a sorta burnt taste to the coffee

Im a green bean and i really need this in my life. Been working for almost 2months at my store but they never put me on bar ( aside the one day training and 30 mins practice ) I don’t mind working at the cafe, warming and customer support, I don’t complain and honestly i love what I’m doing. But i just wanna learn the bar procedure just incase in the future when they decided to put me there i know what to do and wont mess up. This looks really useful. I’m in the process of applying so if I get hired I’ll definitely be using this to help memorize them. I know how to make a lot of the menu at home but I’ve never really paid attention to the exact measurements/recipe that starbucks uses.
