As a current ASU partner who also got tuition costs covered up front at a different college because of a benefit my Dad got for working there, you still need to fill out the FAFSA even if you don’t take out any other loans. It’s more of a need on the college’s end than ours because that’s how Financial aid offices apply any sort of financial assistance to tuition which includes scholarships, grants, and (in our particular case) the Starbucks College Achievement program.

yes you def need it.. in my case every other day they need “more proof documents” it’s so annoying been going on for about 2 months now. even tho fafsa was completed correctly

I also know I will never qualify for financial aid but can verify you still need to fill it out every year anyway. Starbucks/ASU aren't going to cover what the government might. The good news is you really need to fill it out once, every year after that is basically copypasta unless you have some major life changes.
