Ok one of the other SSVs has started wearing sweat pants to work. Not “joggers”, straight up pj bottom sweat pants. She looks like she literally rolled out of bed. SM said since they’re not leggings and dress code doesn’t specifically say no sweatpants, it’s fine.

We aren’t allowed to wear them at our store. No athletic wear, no sweatpants. If your SM & DM are chill with it then I don’t really see an issue.

It just looks sloppy, ya know? Everyone else dresses nice. I feel like we have a pretty flexible dress code and this is just taking advantage of it.

Yeah I get you. It just wouldn’t really bother me. Like I personally wouldn’t dress like that, but I also understand that this is fast food and if management doesn’t care, I don’t either.
The only reason it would really irk me would be if only some people were allowed to dress that way while others at the same store got in trouble for it.

I work at an inside store starbucks so our dress code is so ridiculously strict. Only collared black shirts 😩 I couldn’t imagine wearing sweats and ever getting away with it

maybe she's pregnant & hasn't announced yet? I had a manager once do something similar -- she stared pairing her button downs with black sweatpants. layered up with chunky sweaters. we didn't learn that she was pregnant for like another month.
