For Canada (US is ok if the process is the same)

I really want to work at Starbucks because I love playing with the syrups and blenders and I like Starbucks drinks as well. I have applied for several times at several locations but I haven’t got any calls. Should I go to the stores to apply in person? Or I have to apply through the website and wait for them to call for an interview? Actually I worked at Tim Hortons before and I understand how stress and shitty the job and management will be, but I really want to challenge myself at Starbucks! Thank you guys!

(After applying through the website) I got a reply via phone call within a day and was interviewed two days after that because my store needed more baristas. Some locations might not be looking for new partners (even if applications are open), and try to hire quickly to fill gaps when those openings pop up. Best of luck!

Can you share what questions they asked you and how to deal with memorization stuff? 😁

I got asked a bunch of questions about how I would handle specific things (ruder customers, etc), but I’m not the best source for this. There are a handful of great YouTube videos that I watched about the interview & id recommend just searching “Starbucks Interview tips”. For memorization, flash cards & making sure I was actively present during my training. I caution against going home and spending 5 hours doing studying, it’s totally okay to do some but also you deserve a break and don’t get paid for that time off the clock
