To all the people questioning how this can happen, the name tags get loose over time and after a while they get to point where you don’t notice them hanging halfway off your apron until the blender screams at you because you lost your name tag whilst running back and forth for pumps from hot bar… at least in my experience… 😅
P.S. you can make them tighter by knocking on them with a mallet, just be careful not to dent the tag. I wrap mine in a paper towel if I have to use the metal hammer from the toolbox

One time I accidentally blended the little aluminum tab from a coconut milk into someone’s frappe and almost killed them . The woman called saying she was throwing up and that there were little pieces of metal lodged in her throat. I’ve never felt so horrible in my life. She was fine , and surprisingly not mad…
