well, it has come a time where I am able to put in my two weeks notice without worrying. I just started working 2 jobs, around 50 hours a week. one is at Starbucks in a hotel, where I work full time, and the other is a salon where I potentially will be apprenticing to become a hairstylist.

I finished up my training at the salon this week, and due to doing well, I’ve been offered a full time position at the salon! I’m very excited to accept this opportunity, and they’re exceeding my pay at Starbucks.

I worked at a corporate Starbucks briefly right when COVID-19 hit America, and I’ve worked at this Starbucks a couple of months now. I’m really going to miss my coworkers (not so much the work), but I feel so SO overwhelmed with the timing of this opportunity. things at my store have been nothing less than chaotic recently, as we had 3 partners quit on the spot and our team has been downsized dramatically due to this.

I cannot wait to begin full time at the salon and wish a bittersweet farewell to Starbucks. :’)
