Definitely don't ever just pile more ice on top. What if someone has an allergy to matcha or something crazy and they got ice from that bin? Also matcha gets literally everywhere so adding more ice would just add to the problem. There's no getting around needing to clean that right away lol

We usually have to put ice in a cube, and pour hot water in the ice bin to wash it out quicker, then sanitize, rinse again, then refill it.
