As many as I will pretend to… 100 pumps would be aprox 25 oz so almost one venti cup with nothing else in it at all so you won’t be getting that 100 no matter what the rest will go in the trash …. The most my “normal” sugar addicted customers get would be about 20 in a venti ( this is what one customer gets on a normal basis) …. Could you technically yes should you definitely not …. Will your barista give it to you probably not …. If the syrup has a scan bar on it they can sell you the bottle vanilla is the most typical bottle I sell.

A customer might sue lol, if they see you not put all the 100 pumps in the drink. They might try to count how much you put it in. They are paying for the pumps.

But they aren’t paying per pump, just for the inclusion of the flavor. It’s the same $0.50 up charge if it’s 1 pump or 20. If it was something like $0.10 a pump I can see that argument working, but it’s just a flat fee.

Actually now that I’ve said per pump, I’m hoping that someone from Starbucks is reading this and changes the system. That would be so much better for corporate and for baristas because it would act as a deterrent but also be more cost effective.

Again that’s one venti cup (I’d probably just measure it in a cup and pour in) …. As a former shift I’d more likely call my manager over and make them deal with it if after my expert advice to said customer didn’t work …. So nothing else will fit in the cup …. Can’t tell you how many customers want less milk and when there’s room in the cup flip out … ratios people ratios ….

Oh yeah. The person getting 100 pumps of syrup is gonna sue. Bet. 🙄

If I paid for something, and someone tried to be shady, I would call them out on it. That's my coins I'm spending. You can choose to not give what your customers paid for, but that could come with consequences.

The real answer is they can only get what fits in the size cup they are purchasing. So as long as it fits in the cup they can ask for whatever they want. I did check the app though and it tops out at 12 pumps of syrup for each flavor (but you can still get to 100 pumps total).
