Before we started setting mobile orders out for customers to pick up themselves again, I handed out a 4 item order. 2 drinks and 2 sandwiches. I grab the drinks and hand them out and the woman goes, “I have sandwiches too.” And I said, “I’m aware, I only have 2 hands.”

Like yeah let me grow 2 more arms so I can grab all your stuff at the same time?

Today I was on main bar for Sunday peak and I handed a woman her drink and she told me she also had a blueberry muffin. I gave her my standard response of “oh, it’ll be down from the oven in just a minute.”

“But I didn’t want it in the oven!! I wanted it cold!!”

“… yes ma’am but the muffins are stored down at the ovens, not on my espresso bar”

This conversation tho. Happens too much.

The opposite happened today where a barista made an iced drink by accident and the lady took the drink to the oven barista and said, "this is supposed to be hot" like...... Did she want the barista to put it in the oven lmao

Today for me was, “This is supposed to have extra berries!” on a mobile order. Totally did not say that on sticker. “Is there a way to select that on your app?” “No. I new I should have just called.” Uh...yeah...how am I supposed to magically know you wanted extra berries? And also you literally select how many scoops you want on the app. You can have 10 if you just select it! Calling will only be annoying and we may not even answer, but...
