*random 2pm sunday peak during which we had 3 bar partners*
customer staring at partner on cafe espresso bar: i think you guys forgot about my second drink, it’s a frappuccino, i already got my latte
cafe partner: explains we have different people making hot drinks and cold drinks right now, gestures to me on cold bar
customer a minute later: asking partner on drive espresso bar where his drink is
drive partner: did you order a hot drink in the drive thru?
customer: no.
drive partner: explains that she has not seen his ticket and will never see his ticket; gestures to me
customer: angrily stands behind cold bar staring at my back until i hand him his drink

Sorry...anyone who thinks y'all forgot clealry cant WAIT A SECOND! MY drinks are usually hella complex but I never ask "did y'all forget?"

We had someone come into our cafe yesterday mid peak (which lets be real is actually from like 8 am until close on Saturdays) and order 36 drinks for the staff at a nearby hospital. Then he was pissy that it took us like 15-20 minutes to get his drinks done.
Added to this, we lost power the night before and we didn’t get it back until about 7:30 am so we opened 3 hours late (yay us). All of computers had to be hard reset because of a power surge and our printer settings disappeared. All of our tickets (cafe, mobile, DT, and food) were all coming out of 1 printer because my shift didn’t know how to reset the printer system and our manager is out of town so we had a sub who isn’t even in our city and couldn’t help us.
It was the literal definition of a clusterfuck.
