Why do free loaders be the most extra? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by MemesandSpeech
Just opened up and we had a guy trying to order a frap. He was $1/$2 short and was hassling me to take it or give him a free frap (NO!) SO he was holding the line cause of this nonsense. Luckily, a customer paid for him and we gave that customer's drink FREE! 3 mins later, the free loader was yelling at the batista because he didn't see her make his drink (although she already made it and it was on the ledge) so he was cussing and getting loud and I had to step in cause I don't tolerate disrespecting my coworkers. He looked at me and wanted to fight and then asked for a refund (A customer paid for him!) Guy stormed out taking a half bottle of hand sanitizer like he won.

Why do freeloaders be so extra?
Like you want to fight me cause of a frap? Childish.

because they’re freeloaders and they think they deserve more than other people

For reals. He was like "I know you can override it / take the minimal" In which im like "no, I can't do anything" and when I stepped in when he was barking at my 2 female employees, he wanted to start with me asking me "what I'm trying to do" (a.k.a you wanna fight?) My anxiety got me a lil shook but I was like "nah, I'm not giving him a freebie or nothing" if you over here acting extra at 6:30am for a caramel crunch frap. -_-

Few weeks back lady orders her drink and hands over the money by touching my hand in a caressing fashion, at the time I thought it was weird but also thought maybe I was trippn. I go to help the barista on bar with something and find a guy at the register calling that lady over. She says she was a cake pop and I let them know the options available. After bagging it up I’m waiting for payment and dude pulls out a dollar and some change equaling up to 1.90 something. I look up and say they are 2.25 expecting them to pull out a few more cents and the guy says “it’s only a few more cents” i respond “exactly” to which she responds “can’t you just take it out of there” gesturing to the tip jar and I said absolutely not. He then pulls out a dollar and throws it on the counter. Gave them there “few more cents” told them to have an amazing day. I get told “what the fuck ever” as he walks away and the girl laughing nervously.

God the things I wish I could say to rude customers

“Where’s my change?!”

“It’s just a few more cents”

When you serve the public, you get all kinds. That person is obviously not well mentally, and it probably had nothing to do with you in particular (it seldom ever does).

That’s just ghetto

They're not freeloaders. They're entitled adult-children.

I had a young girl come in one day, maybe 12-13 years old. She ordered a tiktok frappuccino monstrosity and it came out to almost $10. All her mom had given her was $5 and she was about to throw a whole ass tantrum because she wanted a venti and didn’t have enough money to cover the whole thing. We told her she can get a tall, grande if she removed some mods, or an entirely different drink or go get her mom to get more money. She knew her mom wouldn’t spend $10 on a single drink so got the tall and was so rude to us over it.
