District Wide 4 hour shifts (self.starbucksbaristas)

My district just had a hiring fair and my store ALONE got 10 new partners. Now the district manager is requiring store managers to schedule baristas only 4 or 4.5 shifts. I went for 31 hours a week to 17. I need help with what to do… I have bills I can’t afford.

I feel that they just need to know how to schedule better instead of hiring more people and cutting hours like

They’re hiring more ppl bc they anticipate a lot quitting.

And a lot of high schoolers leave for college in the fall so there's a lot of turnover then

They are gonna make more people quite hiring like that tho
