Hey everyone! I’m a new barista. My manager told me there was a way to add your partner card via the app. I believe I did so, but I ordered a drink and scanned the card like usual, thinking they 30% would automatically apply, but I paid full price! Any help?
update: i’ve just been using my partner numbers instead… it may be tedious to have both the app card and my numbers said but better safe then sorry!

If it’s a mobile ordered it comes off automatically, but if you are in store you still have to tell the barista that you have partner numbers and instead of telling your numbers you can scan your card and it’ll pop up!

Also remember, the only way to get the mobile order discount is to put your numbers on your account via the actual website! Adding them to the app doesn’t work for the discount.

I think it’s just on Starbuck’s main website? Not 100% sure though, because I did it ages ago and don’t mobile order much. However, my 30% has never worked with my partner card just being on the app.

Yeah! It’s really convenient unless you’re going in for your free food and drink. The mobile only takes off the 30%

I'm also a new barista, just wondering which items are included within "free food and drink", I've been getting my drinks (I'm only getting coffee beverages 'cos I haven't seen any coworerk getting refreshers) during shifts (today's my 3rd day)? Thank you! I'm too shy to ask my coworkers.

Any drink that’s made by baristas is free. Not sure about apple juice and milk in the rtd&e case and such because I’ve actually never tried. All of the pastries, paninis, parfaits, breakfast items, and the meat and cheese platter are free. There might be other impulse items that work like the peanut butter bars, but you’ll just have to test them out and see if they are free. If they aren’t, everything is still 30% off

I didn’t do a mobile order because they took my drink off the menu haha. But I used the scan card on the app and it didn’t discount it unfortunately

You still have to give your numbers/have them scan your card on the partner number screen before actually paying! Just tell them they have numbers, and they can scan your card on that page, and they should auto fill!

Scanning the app will automatically input your numbers, but the barista still has to select partner discount or partner beverage for it to apply.

Yeah, it's in a sub menu so they're not going to know there are partner numbers attached to your account unless you tell them.

Took a second to figure out. You gotta go to your partner hub and then go to my partner info. The link is: mypartnerinfo-ext.starbucks. com/partnerportal
then hit my partner card.
you’ll login to your starbucks app or make an account. You’ll add a new card and then input the numbers and security number there. Hope that helps :)
