Just got my first check—is it normal to be making 10¢/hour in tips?(self.starbucksbaristas)

I thought it would be at least a little bit more tbh

you mentioned getting a check - are you just looking at the mobile order tips? those get added directly into your paycheck and the rest of your tips are given in cash weekly.
depending on the area you're in tips differ however. I work downtown Seattle and even in a tourist area I only make about $1 an hour in tips.

Whatever it said in the pay stub in the partner hub. I worked 17 hours last week and got $1.70 in tips.
Haven’t gotten anything in cash yet.

okay yeah you'll get more tips in cash! ask someone at your store what day tips get done and you'll be able to pick them up after that day every week

Thanks!
I’m moving to a different store nearby (I’m in nyc) so I guess I’ll stop by my old store next week or something.

Pretty sure those in the pay stub are your mobile tips. They recently separated the cash and those. Before it would be added with the cash tips.

We get about 80 cents to $1 at our cafe store. Are you a drive through? Or a low volume store with a low CC score?

No drive through, but we’ve been moderately busy.

Those are just your digital tips. Your cash tips will probably be more.
