Today a newbie in the drive through had a partner come through. So he asked the partner for his ID to verify identity. HE THEN TRIED TO SCAN THIS PARTNERS ID. WITH THE SCANNER. 🤣
my coworker went over to the newbie and was like “dude you can’t do that what are you doing.” The partner was shocked. And my co-worker was like dude I’m sorry about that. And the partner goes “new guy?”
It’s so funny how he knew the guy was a newbie. BUT STILL. WHAT KIND OF LACK OF COMMON SENSE ☠️. I died.
Best part is this dude isn’t like new new. He’s two months in. 😬

Yeah we’ve gotta few not so newbies that have exactly two brain cells and zero critical thinking skills. It’s very frustrating to have to hold their hand all the time.

One dude worked at our store for 6 months. After all that he still couldn’t charge for milk properly (charged for non dairy’s in iced coffee, etc) so we told our manager to do something and she told him to reconsider whether this job was a good fit for him. He got so pissed he didn’t show up for anymore shifts until he quit. 🙃
