Hey I’m trying to ask a minor for coverage on a shift tomorrow evening. My current shift is unsure on the policy Starbucks has. I know my state labor laws and it’s fine that way since it’s not school season.
Does anyone know what Starbucks policy is break wise and hour wise?

depends on state/country but in my state minors can only work x amount of hours during school. I believe it applies to only the one store though. So lets say x is 20 hours then they can work 20 at one store and 20 worth of extras at another. I could totally be wrong though but you should be fine because in my state its 40 hours. Starbucks doesn't have a policy but the law might.

I don’t think Starbucks has a specific policy relating to minors and the hours they can work/breaks given. As long as everything is in accordance with labor laws it should be fine. Your SM has to approve it anyway so if somethings out of line they will not approve it
