Whenever you get a mark out for the day, can you scan for points for what you ordered?? This sounds stupid and I feel like you probably could but I wasn’t sure if this was a possibility..

nope unfortunately stars are only for when you actually spend money!

If you are doing a star dash that has specific items or number of times to order it will count towards those, but you won’t get stars for just the mark out, since you didn’t spend $ on it. I realized it worked one day when my drink was part of the dash but my moms wasn’t. It counted my drink for the dash even tho it was the more expensive so it was the mark out. It might only work if you also spend money in the same transaction tho.
