I put in my 2 weeks and no showed on the last 3 shifts, but my manager called me and was like “yo this is really outta character for you are you okay?” And I fibbed and so it won’t be job abandonment and I’m really thankful 😅 but honestly wish I had just dipped bc our SM treated us all like trashy lil kids

would abandonment prevent you from getting another job ?

Potentially. It goes on your permanent record for sure

The first time I put in my two weeks. The second time I just no-showed. Still won’t go there to this day lol.
First time I didn’t want to leave, I was moving to college so I just had to. Second time was complete misery

I waited until I had a better job lined up and then finished out my scheduled shifts because I was feeling real generous in the moment. I hated every minute of those 2.5 weeks tho so maybe don’t do that lol
