Sounds like your SSV was chill with it and you usually have great attendance. Don’t worry about it - you’ll be fine! It really does happen with the morning shift because obviously if an alarm doesn’t go off then your body is gonna keep sleeping.

Take a breath! It does happen to all of us! One missed shift absolutely should not impact your ability to transfer. Screw your parents it’s none of their business lol (sorry I’m bitter with my own)

You should be fine to transfer. Worst case scenario (may not happen) is that your manager will give you a written warning or documented coaching. Neither of these will affect you eligibility to transfer, you can have several write ups and still transfer. You would only not be able to transfer if you had a final write up (which won’t happen).
