Advice for green beans of all ages!!! (self.starbucksbaristas)

Just a reminder that your health (mental, physical, emotional) is more important than you covering someone’s shift on your day off. Take your days off and SAVOR THEM. Do whatever the heck that makes you come alive! You are not a bad employee for saying no. Starbucks has stayed afloat before you and will after you, you are never the savior of a store. The more you give the more they take, so only give what you can in the hours you’re scheduled each week. Doing the extra does not affect your employment status positively most of the time…and honestly mostly leads to burnout. And once you snap and realize you’re burned out, you will never not be able to turn off the resentment against the company again. Protect your heart and mind and body, this is just a job ❤️❤️❤️ love, your barista trainer and big sister at starbies.
