moving to a new store (self.starbucksbaristas)

I’m currently being hosted at a starbucks until a new one opens up in my area. The one i work at is a cafe and the new one is a drive through. i honestly really like my coworkers rn and the atmosphere and customers. i’m scared to leave bc i don’t know any of the new hires and i don’t think i’ll like drive through as much (plus no experience with it) . should i stay at the store i’m being hosted at?

It can’t hurt to say something to the manager at your hosted store! Or maybe if you do end up going to the new store and you don’t enjoy it, maybe talk to both managers about transferring back.
A new drive through store opened in my area and we had new hires training with us and I think if any of them asked to come back my manager would be more than happy to have already trained partners and ones that have a tiny bit of experience at that one store.

But with that said, if you do work at the new store it may take a while for the transfer to go through until each store is ready/has openings or the new store has more hands on deck!
