We seriously should close when we don't have ice, having partners run to get expensive ice that's gonna melt into one huge chunk is beyond stupid

Better than my manager who panic bought 6 bags of ice when our machine went down for 1 hour and then proceeded to hoard the ice (taking up 1/2 the freezer) for a month until the supervisors insisted we throw it out or use it. We used it and yes it was super freezer burned.

That happened to us a lil over a week ago, during a heatwave of sorts. Anyhow, my SM called facilities and they arranged an ice delivery.. look into that, definitely way “cooler”

So I’m a SSV at a store that opened in November and our ice machine breaks CONSTANTLY! They keep telling us they’ll give us a new one but there isn’t one available until NOVEMBER. We normally have to by 20-30 of the 20lb bags 3 times a day. One time it was down so long we had to set up an ice delivery.
