Something similar happened to my store. Guy came through DT and asked for 20 (yes 20) Caramel Ribbon Crunch’s in a tall. We had to ask him to come inside and purchase them. What a day to be alive 😶😶

The funny this was, they swap the two people on bar with the people that are good at batch blending. It took about 15 minutes and he didn’t even bring anything to carry them all, so we had to go in the back and bring one of our boxes 😂😂

What is wrong with them calling 20 mins before and coming inside instead? I dont get that part , like howd it mess up any system

Nothing is wrong about that, they just told us to specifically put it through the DT and they instead came inside so we had it going through the DT while trying to take other orders so a green bean had to click save/find order between every order until they came in like 30 mins later to get it.

But why not just put it through cafe and gather it near dt? Why did it have to be rung up at dt? Why mess up your dt routine when cafe bar could’ve made it and someone could’ve hopped in to support…?

We were insanely busy inside during peak but had an unusually lower amount of ppl come through the DT during peak so it became a lot more bearable but… ughhh lol

Oh dang. Yeah, we’re the 3rd busiest store in the State and we’re not even in a particularly populated city but we’re kind of in the middle of a lot of larger cities so it doesn’t help
