I do know that the raspberry syrup (a couple years ago?) used to be similar to the dark color on the right but it is now clearish. It would be really interesting to see if there’s a taste difference between the two or if it’s just color wise. Maybe it will be a different color when we get the syrups back from being temporarily discontinued.

The clear syrup tastes very similar to the red one, I'm pretty sure they just took out the red food coloring (Canada)

It would be very interesting to pump the strawberry purée but would probably help the strawberry cream frap be more consistent and help the strawberry funnel cake frap look more aesthetically pleasing. If they did that they would probably have to change the formula to be thinner or have a thicker pumps so it doesn’t get clogged all the time. That would be a cool idea for sure

USA partner: I heard we used to have Raspberry syrup like this a couple months before I was hired and I was so confused when people would ask me as a green bean why it wasn't red

God we still sometimes have customers say “um this is supposed to have raspberry” because the colour isn’t different. I wouldn’t mind as much if they were just not rude

They dated it 18/8 so I’m assuming it’s outside of the US. I’ve been a partner for over 4 years and as long as I’ve worked at my store, our raspberry has been clearish. I so wish we would get some revamped fruit flavors. RIP peach and mango syrup.

I don’t know if this has anything to do with the change but it’s written in French “sirop de fraise” which translates into “strawberry syrup”.

european partner here! we got the left one as the new raspberry syrup in our last delivery, so i guess they’ll send that from now on( before that we had the right one), and it tastes super artificial, lot like artificial ‘bubblegum’ , but sweeter. haven’t tried it in a drink yet tho.
