Someone at my store tested positive for COVID and the store didn’t get shut down, this is a problem right?(self.starbucksbaristas)

No, they're following policy. If you work a shift with someone within 48 hours of them showing symptoms, you have to isolate. otherwise you're clear to work unless you show symptoms.
Since we got clearer numbers on how likely you are to catch covid from surfaced (you're not likely at all) they've stopped requiring a deep clean under the assumption that our regular cleaning protocol will suffice.

I’m in the US and this is how we handled the covid cases at our store. One time only 5 of us could work. I believe it was anyone who had “close contact” for a period longer than 15 minutes had to quarantine

We only closed for cleaning once when someone tested positive. And anyway covid doesn’t spread through surfaces so it’s honestly not that important. It was at once point since we didn’t know a lot about covid but now that we have more info it’s not as necessary. Mainly just an extra precaution.

We closed for one day for a team to come in and clean everything. And no one turned off our mobile orders while we were closed :)

My store had to shut down because me and the other shifts all had to self isolate. None of us had it but we worked with the worked with the girl that did.
